Fourthwalling: Sure! He'll probably laugh off the idea of being personally fictional, but I'm sure there are at least one or two generic wish fulfillment type games involving "Become the STRONGEST CHAMPION OF THEM ALL!1111" even in his world, which might even feature actual people in their appropriate roles as the NPCs.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I don't think anything is completely off the table, but I'll edit this if anything occurs to me.

Kissing this character: Yes~ He'd probably be pretty surprised, but depending on the situation, he might kiss back? Especially if it's cute forehead/cheek kisses.
Flirting with this character: Yes~ He'll happily flirt right back, though the actual seriousness vs. ridiculous melodrama of it is anyone's guess.
Fighting with this character: Ask first so we can plot? He's always ready for a Pokémon battle, but significantly less ready for fighting himself; he'd rather flee.

It's cool, it is a pretty old game. (To the point I don't think you can actually find it anymore to play it yourself.) So I'm used to having to feed canon knowledge out. Luckily Ib is pretty blunt so she'd basically would answer any question he asked her if he saw like a painting come alive and chase her in a memory or something.

Okay, but now I'm picturing it as like, instead of any thoughts translating over, it's literally just BGM/soundtrack accompanying and/or evoking the emotions. Oops, Kiwi's having a panic attack, and now Will's nursing a vicious headache from all these shrieking, echoing discordant notes. Both Kaito and Vianca are (generally) opted in for these psychic shenanigans. They have zero defenses and are both pretty prone to distant linefaces (Vianca especially), even if they aren't feeling that way. Kai is usually pretty honest about things anyway, so that's all good. Vianca is sometimes less so to minimize her presence, but she's very familiar with how pokemon work so it is equally as good.

If there are any big and drastic reveals going on I'm sure it'd be something we ended up talking about while the threads are happening cuz obscure canon and crau so /fingerguns

SO. Although this is an opt-in, because of power crossover, Will wouldn't be able to get anything more than emotions off Emet-Selch. This is due to a power (variously called the Gift or the Echo) that boils down to the ability to control the boundaries of his own soul. Unless he's consciously choosing to lower that boundary, nothing "gets out' so to speak. This is probably something that Will would pick up on pretty quickly, because it's not exactly the normal sort of boundary/walls.

His emotions are probably fairly low-key! Because they... are, he rarely cares enough to experience them strongly anymore.(The big exception will be grief just regularly like. swinging a 2x4 around.) Boundary feels is whatever.

Though this gives Will a partial chance of overhearing a 'voice' with no physical source - the peridexis, which has tagged along with Nita from the start in opposition to the last time she got dragged to a game~

Nita might try and make it two-way, though, and/or chatting in the Speech might make things sound weird mentally? But that's up to you.

Tanjiro is a pretty honest kid, as far as inner thoughts and emotions go, he's an open book so Will won't find much difference with him.

But, if he ever wants to dig further into Tanjiro's head, canon provided a glimpse into his mindscape also known as his spirit's core. His spirit core takes the appearance of sea shores and endless blue skies, there's nothing else for miles but the area is calming. He might even feel a sense of comfort in it. Let me know if he wants to dig into his memories, I'll adjust my tags accordingly!

OH BOY.

Cloud's surface-level thoughts are pretty easy to read and he's got no mental shielding whatsoever. Any digging deeper though would be a massive mess of deeply-buried trauma and issues he's not completely aware of. Feel fine to read the surface-level thoughts as long as I get a heads up but if going deeper.....well, I'm not against happening per say but it would need a lot of careful plotting and development because any forcing out of certain buried memories without a lot of plotting could cause him to have a huge mental breakdown.
